Realize Construction.

With the Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg, Tesla has established a highly integrated production site in Grünheide for the mass production of electric vehicles. On a site covering approximately 3.0 million m², a comprehensive industrial system has been created that closely integrates production, logistics and infrastructure, and is designed for speed, scalability and efficiency.

ahc GmbH took on project management, quantity surveying and construction management tasks, managing costs, contracts and construction processes in a highly dynamic and concurrent environment. We coordinated the project stakeholders, created transparency in cost development and ensured the structured execution of construction works.

A key focus was on contractual management and handling changes within a highly dynamic project environment. Through the close integration of cost control, supplier management and claims management, impacts were identified at an early stage and a robust basis for decision-making was established.

The particular challenge lay in the simultaneous implementation of construction, commissioning and production processes, as well as in the high technical complexity of the site. The factory was to be understood not as a traditional construction project, but as an integrated production system with closely coordinated processes and complex interfaces.
