“Catena-X is a cross-company data ecosystem that enables standardised and sovereign data exchange across the automotive value chain. In this highly interconnected environment, involving numerous industry partners, new requirements arise for coordination, integration and management across organisational boundaries.

ahc GmbH took on project management tasks and supported the structuring and coordination of the overall project in close collaboration with management. We assumed a coordinating role within the development consortium comprising 28 industry partners, consolidated requirements from the participating companies and translated these into a structured project framework with clear responsibilities and decision-making processes.

A key focus was on the integration and management of internal and external requirements, as well as on the coordination of the stakeholders involved. In addition, we were responsible for reporting and supported structured committee management to ensure that decision-making processes were transparent and traceable.

The project was characterised by a high degree of technical and organisational complexity, as well as close collaboration between numerous industry partners. Divergent system landscapes, processes and strategic visions had to be interlinked and integrated into a coherent overall structure.”
